Connecting With the Universal Consciousness
Everything in the universe arises from the same source field — a unified, all-permeating field of intelligent energy. It is our responsibility to transcend the illusion of separation and connect with this universal consciousness.
Many thinkers — mystics, philosophers, and scientists alike — have tried to define what consciousness exactly is. Consciousness has been defined as the state of wakefulness, when one is aware of their surroundings; as the ability to be aware of something going on within oneself; and as a sense of self-awareness. While all of these are valid descriptions, consciousness remains the most mysterious human trait.
Despite the impressive advances in neuroscience that have given us a significant understanding of how the brain works, the source or cause of consciousness continues to remain a mystery. This is because the old scientific paradigm, which considered the mind as a byproduct of brain activity, actually fails to explain the phenomenon of consciousness.
Many visionaries have shared a different, non-materialist view on consciousness. They have recognized that all of the things that we see in the universe arise from the same source field — a unified field of intelligent energy, one that is omnipresent throughout all time and space and permeates everything in existence. Its loving and creative nature binds us to each other and the universe.

Everyone can connect with the universal consciousness. But as long as we live in a state of constant tension, stress, competition, and conflict, we remain disconnected from the world as one. An open mind, an open heart, and active awareness are required, if one is to transcend the illusion of separation.
We have to take responsibility for our consciousness and be ready to change.
